Dengue & Chikungunya Awareness Talks at Primary Schools, Perak

From 29 to 31 July 2025, TIDREC, Universiti Malaya conducted awareness talks on dengue and chikungunya at three primary schools:

• SJKC Choong Hua 1
• SJKC Kampung Pahang
• SJKC Pui Chen

The talks focused on:

• Dengue & chikungunya vectors
• Disease symptoms
• Modes of transmission
• Preventive measures

A total of 170 students and teachers participated in this program. TIDREC hopes this initiative will enhance knowledge and awareness on the importance of maintaining a clean environment and preventing the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes.
