On 14-16th November 2022, TIDREC co-organized the “International Symposium on Tropical Infectious Diseases” at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, with the Tropical Infectious Diseases Cooperation Laboratory (TIDCL), Ajou University School of Medicine, Korea. The symposium was attended by our esteemed international collaborators from Korea, India and Vietnam, who specialized in tropical infectious diseases and diagnostics. The objective of this symposium was to create a platform for knowledge transfer and to strengthen research collaborations in the future. A two-days workshops were also conducted to provide practical training on the development of hybridoma cells for diagnostic antibody production, as well as on tick cell development and mosquito research techniques
